Introducing ZINIO TV Powered by Unreel
ZINIO is a technology company that works with some of the largest publishers in the world to digitize and distribute their print magazines on smart devices. In early 2018, Unreel and ZINIO teamed up to begin developing branded streaming services for their publishing partners interested in distributing video on OTT.
With the help of Unreel, ZINIO has now launched their own branded streaming service, ZINIO TV! Serving as an aggregate distribution destination for video content from their partners, the streaming service can be accessed on iOS, Android, Apple TV, Roku, and web. ZINIO TV mimics the model of ZINIO’s widely popular digital Newsstand – allowing their publishing partners to place content onto ZINIO’s own apps to serve as either their main distribution endpoint or supplement their own owned and operated strategy. This allows publishers not yet ready to launch their own branded streaming service to dip their toe into the OTT waters through syndication.
With 31 unique magazine brands streaming their video content on ZINIO TV at launch, including Popular Science, Field & Stream, Dirt Rider, Outdoor Life and Motorcyclist, the streaming service is positioned to succeed with appeal to a wide range of audiences.
